Ellie Potter (Liana Liberato) and Max (Isabelle Fuhrman) have been best friends for years, but these two teenage girls are tired of their routine life. The Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962 convinces them that life is fleeting, so the two girls decide to go on a spur of the moment road trip to find Eleanor Roosevelt.   This joy ride turns into a shocking personal odyssey that helps the girls to learn who they truly are.

Eschewing the traditional biopic trappings in true Miles Davis style, the films follows the legendary jazz trumpeter (Don Cheadle) during the 1970's, now a drug addled recluse in Los Angeles. An attempt to recover his latest recordings from greedy label owners leads Davis and reporter Dave Braden on a wild chase through the city. As the situation escalates out of control, Braden begins to doubt Davis' sanity and his own commitment to the story.

"Elvis & Nixon" is about a very high profile meeting that once took place between Elvis Presley (Michael Shannon) and President Richard Nixon (Kevin Spacey). This meeting actually takes place in December of 1970 and came at the request of Elvis himself and what follows is essentially an unintentionally funny point in time where the two figures take a photograph that becomes iconic. In fact, the photo becomes one of the most sought after pictures in all of the National Archives.
