Short Term Warming Centers for the Winter Season

With very cold temperatures, wind-chill and dangerous overnight lows in our future, this is a reminder to the residents of Enfield of the availability of our short-term warming centers for the winter season at the following locations:

Enfield Senior Center, 299 Elm Street is open during normal business hours as a warming center. Regular Hours are Monday – Thursday 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Enfield Public Library, 104 Middle Road, Regular Hours are Monday – Thursday 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a. m. to 5 p.m.

Pearl Street Library at 159 Pearl Street, Regular Hours are Monday – Thursday 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. and  Friday 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.  The Pearl Street Library is closed on Saturday.

The Enfield Police Department Lobby, 293 Elm Street is available as a warm center 24 hours per day.

Additionally, you can call 211 for live shelter availability.
