PROGRAM INFORMATION & DATA:
 
 This division's responsibilities, governed primarily by the Connecticut General
 Statutes include the collection of all taxes; real and personal; special
 assessments such as for sewers; prior years' taxes, interest and penalties.  The
 division also initiates liens against property of which taxes are delinquent and
 institutes collection procedures.
 
 DEPARTMENT GOALS:
 
 To continue successful collection of current and delinquent property taxes.
 
 Continue to use resources available to provide efficient service to the
 taxpayers of Enfield.
