Town of Enfield Parking Ban Information
During winter months the Town of Enfield respectfully requests that all residents abide to Parking Bans. Per Town Ordinance Sec. 82-63 Parking During Storms: No motor vehicle shall be parked on a public street or highway in town during a snow storm that has an accumulation of three inches (3”) or more, unless otherwise posted.
Parking Bans are posted prior to snow events on TV Channel 3, Channel 30. Radio Stations; WTIC 96.5 FM, WDRC 102.9 FM
The parking ban is intended to insure that the snow plow operators are able to clear the snow from the roadways in a safe and timely manner and to maintain safe road conditions for Emergency Services as well as the traveling public.
Thompsonville section of town has off street parking available in municipal parking lots located on:
- Pearl Street at Asnuntuck Street;
- Pearl Street at South Street;
- Pleasant Street at Whitworth Street; and
- Pleasant Street parking lot for Angelo Lamagna Center.
