ATTENTION ENFIELD RESIDENTS
Disposal Flood 2005 Debris
I Weekly Curbside Collection/ Hardest Hit Areas:
Area 1) Pearl Street Extension, Meadowlark Road, Broadleaf Lane, Yale Drive, Yale Court, Storrs Road, Trinity Drive, Hillyer Drive
Area 2) Fairfield Road, Litchfield Road, Windham Road, Middlesex Drive, Tolland Drive
Area 3) O'Hear Avenue, Lynch Terrace, John Street, Meadow Street, Claremont Avenue, Roseland Avenue, Edward Avenue
Residents living within the three areas described above will receive weekly debris collection curbside beginning Wednesday, October 19, 2005 and continuing through November 4, 2005. There will be no fee for this service. Residents need only to leave their debris materials curbside for collection. Refrigeration units and hazardous materials cannot be collected. Refrigeration units can be properly disposed of at the Transfer Station with a valid $5.00 residential permit* without further charge.
II Curbside Collection by Appointment:
Residents living outside the areas described above will have debris collection by appointment beginning Monday October 17, 2005 and ending on November 4, 2005. NOTICE: LAST DAY TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR FREE FLOOD DEBRIS PICK-UP OCTOBER 28TH. Residents need only call 763-7560 directly and state their name, address, and phone number to be scheduled for collection, or may contact Tom McGee for further information. There will be no fee for this service.
III Transfer Station Disposal:
The Transfer Station off Town Farm Road will be available to Residents for disposal of Flood 2005 debris with a valid $5.00 residential permit* without any further charges beginning October 14, 2005 and continuing through November 6, 2005. The Transfer Station will be open Tuesday through Friday 8:00 A.M. to 2:45 P.M. and Saturday & Sunday 8:00 A.M. to 3:45 P.M.
