REGULAR MEETING

1. Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Gretchen Pfeifer-Hall at 7:30 p.m.

2. Pledge of Allegiance: The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited.

3. Roll Call: Present were: Chairperson Pfeifer-Hall and Agents Arnone, Camidge, Maxellon and Staples, as well as Alternate members Bartosz and Littlejohn (7:31 p.m.). Also present were Steven Sadlowski, Wetlands Agent and Susan Berube, Recording Secretary. Agent Bartosz was empowered as a full voting member for this meeting.

4. Executive Session:

Matters regarding specific employees, pending litigation, acquisition of real estate and / or matters exempt from disclosure requirements: There were no items for discussion in executive session.

5. Public Participation - Issues of concern not on the agenda: No one in the audience came forward to speak.

6. Correspondence: A total of 14 items of correspondence were received since the meeting of December 18, 2007.

7. Commissioner’s Correspondence: Chairperson Pfeifer-Hall noted receipt of an invitation to the Council of Chairs Meeting to be held on 2/26/08. Agency members discussed issues that could be brought up at the meeting. Chairperson Pfeifer-Hall and Agent Arnone anticipate attending the meeting.

8. Approval of Minutes – December 18, 2007: A motion was made by Agent Camidge and seconded by Agent Maxellon to approve the minutes of the meeting of December 18, 2007 as presented. Vote was 2-0-4(Bartosz, Staples, Maxellon, Arnone).

9. Wetlands Agent Report –December 18, 2007 to February 19, 2008: Mr. Sadlowski briefly reviewed outstanding permits and wetland issues.

10. Old Business (none): There were no items to discuss.

11. New Business

a. IW0506 Paul M. Mailhot – Construction of a single family residence within the upland review area. Moody Road just East of Fermi High (Map 93, lot4), zoned R-33 & I-1. Submitted: February 13, 2008, Received: February 19, 2008, PPE: March 4, 2008, MAD: April 24, 2008: It was the consensus of the Agency members that a public hearing is not required for this application. A motion was made by Agent Arnone and seconded by Agent Staples to table further discussion on this application to the meeting of March 4, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. Vote was 6-0-0.
