A meeting of the Water Pollution Control Authority was called to order by Chairman Kaupin in the Council Chambers of the Enfield Town Hall, 820 Enfield Street, Enfield, Connecticut on Monday, May 19, 2008. The meeting was called to order at 9:53 p.m.
ROLL-CALL – Present were Commissioners Bosco, Dumont, Edgar, Jones, Kaupin, Kiner, Lee, Mangini, Nelson and Ragno. Commissioner Crowley was absent. Also present were Town Manager, Matthew Coppler; Assistant Town Manager, Daniel Vindigni; Town Clerk, Suzanne Olechnicki; Town Attorney, Kevin Deneen
MOTION #6122 by Commissioner Ragno, seconded by Commissioner Mangini to accept the minutes of the May 5, 2008 meeting.
Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #6122 adopted 8-0-2, with Commissioners Nelson and Ragno abstaining.
RESOLUTION #6123 by Commissioner Lee, seconded by Commissioner Jones.
WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 103, Section 7-255 of the Connecticut General Statutes, the Enfield Water Pollution Control Authority held a Public Hearing on May 19, 2008 at 6:50 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Town Hall, 820 Enfield Street, Enfield, Connecticut, hearing comments on properties effected by the proposed 2008-2009 sewer use charge rate;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Enfield Water Pollution Control Authority does hereby set the sewer use charge rate for the 2008-2009 billing at $1.64 per thousand gallons of wastewater treated.
Upon a ROLL-CALL vote being taken, the Chair declared RESOLUTION #6123 adopted 10-0-0.

Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #6121 adopted 9-0-0, and the meeting stood adjourned at 9:55 p.m.
