ENFIELD TOWN COUNCIL
MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING
DECEMBER 10, 2001
A Special Meeting of the Enfield Town Council was called to order by Chairman Vayda in the Enfield Room of the Enfield Town Hall, 820 Enfield Street, Enfield, Connecticut on Monday, December 10, 2001 at 6:09 p.m.
ROLL-CALL Present were Councilmen Edgar, Falk, Fiore, Hall, Mangini, Strom, Tait, Tallarita and Vayda. Councilman Egan arrived at 6:10 p.m. and Councilman Kaupin arrived at 8:40 p.m.
MOTION #5577 by Councilman Mangini, seconded by Councilman Tallarita to go into Executive Session to discuss Personnel Matters.
Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #5577 adopted 10-0-0, and the meeting stood recessed at 6:10 p.m.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
The Executive Session of the Enfield Town Council was called to order by Chairman Vayda at 6:11 p.m.
ROLL-CALL - Present were Councilmen Edgar, Egan, Falk, Fiore, Hall, Mangini, Strom, Tait, Tallarita and Vayda.
Personnel Matters, was discussed with no action or votes being taken.
Chairman Vayda adjourned the Executive Session at 6:33 p.m. He reconvened the Special Meeting at 6:34 p.m. and stated that during Executive Session they discussed Personnel Matters with no action or votes being taken.
The following applicants were then interviewed for positions on the Planning & Zoning Commission:
Elizabeth Ballard
Jeffrey Cooper
Harry Madler
Richard Szewczak
Frank Dentamaro
Karen Weseliza
Robert Egan
Paul Thorogood
James A. Hickey, Jr.
Karen Krebs
Council then agreed to meet on Thursday, December 13, 2001 at 5:30 p.m. to interview an additional candidate for the commission.
ADJOURNMENT
MOTION #5578 by Councilman Falk, seconded by Councilman Hall to adjourn.
Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #5578 adopted 11-0-0, and the Special Meeting stood adjourned at 9:05 p.m.
