A meeting of the Enfield Town Council, acting in its official capacity as Water Pollution Control Authority, was called to order by Chairman William Vayda in the Town Council Chambers, Enfield Town Hall, 820 Enfield Street, Enfield, Connecticut on Tuesday, September 3, 2002 at 11:21 a.m.
ROLL-CALL - Present were Commissioners Edgar, Egan, Fiore, Hall, Jones, Kaupin, Mangini, Strom, Tait, Tallarita, and Vayda. Also present were Town Manager, Scott Shanley; Assistant Town Manager, Daniel Vindigni; Town Clerk, Suzanne F. Olechnicki; Town Attorney, Christopher W. Bromson
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
MOTION #6025 by Commissioner Strom, seconded by Commissioner Tallarita to accept the minutes of the August 5, 2002 meeting.
Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #6025 adopted 11-0-0.
MOTION #6026 by Commissioner Mangini, seconded by Commissioner Jones to waive the reading of the resolution.
Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #6026 adopted 11-0-0.
RESOLUTION #6027 by Commissioner Strom, seconded by Commissioner Tait.
A Resolution re: Accepting the Amended Grease Trap Ordinance

Upon a ROLL-CALL vote being taken, the Chair declared RESOLUTION #6027 adopted 11-0-0.
DISCUSSION RE: DENITRIFICATION PROJECT
Mr. Shanley stated this item was included on the agenda so that they had the opportunity to discuss this topic further or ask more background questions.
There was no further discussion on this item.
ADJOURNMENT
MOTION #6028 by Commissioner Tait, seconded by Commissioner Tallarita to adjourn.
Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #6028 adopted 11-0-0, and the meeting stood adjourned at 11:24 p.m.
