ENFIELD TOWN COUNCIL MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING/BUDGET REVIEW SESSION MONDAY, APRIL 29, 2002
The Special Meeting/Budget Review Session of the Enfield Town Council was called to order by Chairman Vayda in the Enfield Room of the Enfield Town Hall, 820 Enfield Street, Enfield, CT on Monday, April 29, 2002 at 7:11 p.m.
ROLL-CALL - Present were Councilmen Edgar, Falk, Fiore, Mangini, Strom and Vayda. Councilman Egan arrived at 7:16 p.m. and Councilman Kaupin arrived at 7:17 p.m. Councilmen Hall, Tait and Tallarita were absent. Also present were Town Manager Scott A. Shanley, Assistant Town Manager Daniel T. Vindigni, Director of Finance Gregory R. Simmons, Deputy Finance Director and Treasurer Kimberly Doherty-Marcotte, Director of Human Resources William E. Mahoney, Director of Public Works John J. Kazmarski, Deputy Director of Public Works Geoffrey McAlmond, School Facilities Director Arthur Pongratz, Town Clerk Suzanne F. Olechnicki.
The Human Resources, Finance Administration, Treasury, Collection of Revenue, Assessor, General Services and Capital Improvement Program budgets were reviewed.
MOTION #5857 by Councilman Strom, seconded by Councilman Mangini to go into Executive Session to discuss Personnel Matters, Pending Litigation and Real Estate Negotiations.
Upon a SHOW OF HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #5857 adopted 8-0-0. And the meeting stood recessed at 9:21 p.m.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
The Executive Session of the Enfield Town Council was called to order by Chairman Vayda at 9:23 p.m.
ROLL-CALL Present were Councilmen Edgar, Egan, Falk, Fiore, Kaupin, Mangini, Strom and Vayda. Also present Town Manager Scott A. Shanley, Assistant Town Manager Daniel T. Vindigni, Town Clerk Suzanne F. Olechnicki.
Personnel Matters, Pending Litigation, and Real Estate Negotiations were discussed with no action or votes being taken.
Chairman Vayda adjourned the Executive Session at 9:28 p.m. He reconvened the Special Meeting at 9:29 p.m. and stated that during Executive Session they discussed Personnel Matters, Pending Litigation, and Real Estate Negotiations with no action or votes being taken.
The Council was updated on renovation activity at a Prospect Street property and a search for volunteers to be honored by the Secretary of the State.
ADJOURNMENT
MOTION #5858 by Councilman Strom, seconded by Councilman Mangini to adjourn.
Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #5858 adopted 8-0-0, and the meeting stood adjourned at 9:42 p.m.
