ENFIELD TOWN COUNCIL MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING/BUDGET REVIEW SESSION MONDAY, APRIL 22, 2002
The Special Meeting/Budget Review Session of the Enfield Town Council was called to order by Chairman Vayda in the Enfield Room of the Enfield Town Hall on Monday, April 22, 2002 at 6:10 p.m.
ROLL-CALL - Present were Councilmen Edgar, Egan, Falk, Fiore, Kaupin, Mangini and Vayda. Councilman Strom arrived at 6:11 p.m. and Councilman Hall arrived at 6:12 p.m. Councilmen Tait and Tallarita were absent. Also present Assistant Town Manager Daniel T. Vindigni, Director of Finance, Gregory R. Simmons, Recreation Supervisor Mary M. Keller, Director of Social Services Dorothy C. Allen, Deputy Director of Social Services, Marla Hauslaib, members of the Human Services Advisory Commission, Chairman Everett A. Gamble, Cynthia A. Johnston, Carol Jean Robinson and Richard Tynan and Town Clerk Suzanne F. Olechnicki.
Present for the budget review of various outside agencies were Executive Director for the North Central Regional Mental Health Board Cheryl Breetz, Chief Operations Officer for the North Central Counseling Services Marcy Neff, Board of Director member Frank Poirot for the Network for Domestic Abuse, Acting President David Marmelstein, Acting Director Julie Lie, Board of Director member Kathy Chapdelaine for Literacy Volunteers, Director of ARC Rita McCarthy, Executive Director for Home and Community Health Services, Inc. Kathryn Roby, President and CEO for New Directions Christopher Leary, Chairman for the Enfield Veterans Council Theodore J. Plamondon Jr., Chairman for the Cultural Arts Commission Theresa W. Jedynak, Staff Liaison for the Historic District Commission Roger W. Alsbaugh, Glenn F. Kuczarski, CPA, Mercik Kuczarski & Bolduc LLC accountant for the Enfield Cemetery Association, Treasurer for the Enfield Historic Society Paul D. Batchelder and Director of Health for the North Central District Health Department William H. Blitz.
Discussion/Review for this session focused on the agencies and committees listed above.
ADJOURNMENT
MOTION #5855 by Councilman Mangini, seconded by Councilman Strom to adjourn.
Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #5855 adopted 9-0-0, and the meeting stood adjourned at 9:30 p.m.
