ENFIELD TOWN COUNCIL
MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING/BUDGET REVIEW SESSION
MONDAY, APRIL 8, 2002
The Special Meeting/Budget Review Session of the Enfield Town Council was called to order by Acting Chairwoman Strom in the Enfield Room of the Enfield Town Hall on Monday, April 8, 2002 at 6:38 p.m.
ROLL-CALL Present were Councilmen Edgar, Falk, Fiore, Mangini, Strom and Tait. Councilman Tallarita, Hall and Egan arrived during the WPCA meeting at 6:41 p.m., 6:42 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. respectively. Councilman Kaupin arrived at 7:20 p.m., Councilman Vayda at 8:01 p.m. Also present were, Assistant Town Manager Daniel T. Vindigni, Director of Public Works John J. Kazmarski, Deputy Director of Public Works Geoffrey McAlmond, Assistant Director of Public Works Colleen M. Brand, Superintendent of Water Pollution Control Marvin Serra, Fleet Service Supervisor Douglas L. Angers, Building Official James D. Taylor, Town Clerk Suzanne F. Olechnicki.
There was no Executive Session
MOTION #5830 by Councilman Tait, seconded by Councilman Mangini to recess the meeting in order to conduct a Water Pollution Control Authority meeting.
Upon a SHOW OF HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #5830 adopted 6-0-0 and the meeting stood recessed at 6:40 p.m.
MOTION #5831 by Councilman Strom, seconded by Councilman Mangini to reconvene the Special Meeting.
Upon a SHOW OF HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #5831 adopted 9-0-0 and the Special Meeting of the Enfield Town Council was reconvened at 7:17 p.m.
Budget proposals for Water Pollution Control, Public Works Administration, Engineering, Building Code Enforcement, Building and Grounds Maintenance, Highway Maintenance, Equipment Maintenance & Repair, and Refuse Collection & Disposal were reviewed.
ADJOURNMENT
MOTION #5832 by Councilman Fiore, seconded by Councilman Tallarita to adjourn.
Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #5832 adopted 11-0-0 and the meeting stood adjourned at 10:11 p.m.
