ENFIELD TOWN COUNCIL

MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING/BUDGET REVIEW SESSION

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 18, 2012

 

The Special Meeting of the Enfield Town Council was called to order by Chairman Kaupin in the Enfield Room of the Enfield Town Hall on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 6:32 p.m.

 

ROLL-CALL - Present were Councilmen Arnone, Hall, Kaupin, Lee, Mangini, Nelson and Stokes.  Councilman Bosco arrived at 6:34 p.m.  Councilman Crowley arrived at 7:48 p.m.  Councilmen Edgar and Kienzler were absent.  Also present Town Manager Matthew Coppler, Assistant Town Manager Daniel Vindigni, Town Attorney Kevin Deneen, Director of Finance Lynn Nenni, Judge of Probate Timothy Keeney, Recreation Supervisor Mary Keller, Assistant Recreation Supervisor Alison Alberghini-Durler, Chief Technology Officer Paul Russell, Town Clerk Suzanne Olechnicki.

 

Discussion/Review for this session focused on Town Attorney, Judge of Probate, Recreation, Information Technology and Finance.

 

MOTION #1771 by Councilman Lee, seconded by Councilman Mangini to go into Executive Session to discuss Personnel Matters, Pending Litigation and Real Estate Negotiations.

 

Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #1771 adopted

9-0-0 and the meeting stood recessed at 8:44 p.m.

 

EXECUTIVE SESSION

 

The Executive Session of the Enfield Town Council was called to order by Chairman Kaupin at 8:50 p.m.

 

ROLL-CALL - Present were Councilmen Arnone, Bosco, Crowley, Hall, Kaupin, Lee, Mangini, Nelson and Stokes.  Also present were Town Manager Matthew Coppler, Assistant Town Manager Daniel Vindigni, Town Clerk Suzanne Olechnicki.

 

Chairman Kaupin recessed the Executive Session at 9:40 p.m., reconvened the Special Meeting at 9:41 p.m. and stated that during Executive Session, Personnel Matters, Pending Litigation and Real Estate Negotiations were discussed with no action or votes being taken.

 

ADJOURNMENT

 

MOTION #1772 by Councilman Stokes, seconded by Councilman Bosco to adjourn.

 

Upon a SHOW-OF-HANDS vote being taken, the Chair declared MOTION #1772 adopted

9-0-0 and the meeting stood adjourned at 9:42 p.m.
