The Enfield Youth Center provides a safe environment for Enfield residents ages 8-18 who are currently attending school. The Youth Center is located on the second floor of the Angelo Lamagna Activity Center. Our philosophy is to provide an environment which offers members an opportunity to build self-esteem through recreation, socialization, positive youth development, skill building and enrichment activities.
We have a wide variety of card and board games, as well as pool, ping-pong, air hockey and foosball. We also have use of the gym Monday through Thursday, 3:00-6:00pm and 3:00-8:00pm on Fridays. The gym is used for a wide variety of other competitive and non competitive games. There are monthly field trips as well as annual trips to, Six Flags, Movie Theater trips, bowling, and much, much morel. We offer a daily snack and Friday night dinners.
Our experienced and dedicated staff supervises and provides a wide variety of activities, clubs and programs. We plan all of our programs quarterly.
Membership
A Membership Pass can be purchased for $10.00 and with this pass, all Youth Center sponsored events are free of charge.
Hours of Operation
Monday-Friday
3:00-8:00pm
School in-service days, December, February and April Vacations as well as any snow days the Center opens at 12:00pm. And occasional Weekend events.
Homework Help
The center offers a quiet staff supervised homework room Monday -Thursdays from 3:00-6:00pm
Transportation
The Youth Center offers transportation from school or home to the Center, space is limited to capacity of van.
Internet Access
The Youth Center also has internet access for those who return a permission slip signed by a parent/guardian.
