Internet Family Resources for Parents and Child Day Care Providers

 

Information about Adult Education Programs provided by Enfield Public Schools.

Healthy Kids, Healthy Care, produced by the National Resource Center for Health and Safety in Child Care and Early Education (NRC), provides health and safety standards for parents and families to look for when evaluating and choosing child care/early education programs. Parents can also use the resources to help improve the quality of their child’s current program.

 

Born Learning will help parents, grandparents, and caregivers explore ways to turn everyday moments into fun learning opportunities for infants and young children.

Connecting Connecticut residents to community health and human resources.

Connecticut Department of Public Health Child Day Care Center Licensing Program is a resource for child day care providers and for parents who are in the process of choosing a child day care provider.

 

Infoline provides information on child development, coping with challenging behaviors, and disability and health related issues, as well as access to Connecticut's Birth to Three System, Help Me Grow Program, Preschool Special Education Services, and Child and Youth with Special Health Care Needs Programs.

Child Care Resources provides information to help you choose high quality child and after school care.

The Children's Trust Fund offer online parenting information, tips and support.

The Talaris Research Institute provides information on the development of a child's emotional health through age five.

The Circle of Security Project is an innovative, first-of-its-kind early intervention program designed to alter the developmental pathway of parents and their young children. 

Zero to Three is a resource on early childhood development for parents and day care providers of children zero to three years of age.

CT Child Care Infoline assists parents and child care providers in locating appropriate child care resources and referrals. Staff are multilingual and bicultural.
