Information Regarding the Connecticut Water Company "Help 2 Our Customers (H20) Program"

Neighborhood Services and the Connecticut Water Company are pleased to administer the H20 program for eligible Enfield customers who are facing financial hardships and are having difficutly with their past due water bills.

To be eligible customers must be at or below 200% of the current Federal Poverty Guidelines. 

Once approved, Neighborhood Services will work with you and Connecticut Water to come up with a suitable payment arrangement that takes into account your individual situation and the requirements of Connecticut Water.  Once an arrangement is made, Connecticut Water will mail your agreement that outlines your payments. For every payment made on an H20 agreement, Connecticut Water will add an additional credit of 20% of that payment towards your past due balance.  Customers are reminded that the H20 program applies ONLY to the past due portion of your bill and you are responsible for any new charges related to your water usage. 

This is a program provided to us by the Connecticut Water Company and therefore your eligibility for the program does not gurantee that you will be able to participate.  For example - customers with extremely high balances or previously broken agreements may not be able to arrange a payment plan that meets both your and Connecticut Water's requirements.
