Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program

The Town's Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program (HRLP) provides low-interest loan funds to address housing code related issues including roof repair, windows, siding, heating systems, electrical, plumbing, and much more. Loan amounts and rates are set by the OCD staff and the Loan Review Committee. The housing rehab program is open to all Enfield residents who are determined to be income eligible. Rehab projects are broken into 2 categories.
Single Family Homes: Owners can get up to $25,000 in loan funds for eligible repairs plus a one-time $2,500 incentive grant for added work or to pay-down the loan (Single Family Rehab Guidelines and Application  ).
Multifamily Homes: Owners can get up to $25,000 in loan funds per unit for eligible repairs plus a one-time $5,000 incentive grant for added work or to pay-down the loan (Multifamily Rehab Guidelines and Application ).
