First-Time Homebuyer Program

The Town's First-Time Homebuyer Program (FTHB) is designed to assist people who want to purchase their first home in Enfield. The program provides a fogivable loan to income eligible individuals who purchase a home within the town. The loan will be forgiven if the buyer remains in the home for the full term of the loan, usually 5 to 10 years.
Requirements:

Applicants must have a pre-approval letter from an approved Bank or Lending Institution.

All program applicants are required to attend a home-owners class and obtain a certification of attendance.

50% of the loan must be used to write-down your primary mortgage. 50% may be used for down payments, inspection services, or other closing costs.
