The purpose of the Housing Code is to insure safe, sanitary and decent housing within the town of Enfield. The Housing Code is enforced by prescribing minimum standards relative to living conditions in all structures used for dwelling or human habitation. The Office of Community Development is responsible for enforcement of the Housing Code and employs a full-time Housing Code Inspector.
