The Enfield Water Pollution Control Division is responsible for the efficient removal of pollutants from wastewater generated by the residents and businesses in Enfield. This goal is realized through the operation, maintenance and repair of sixteen pumping stations, a ten million gallon per day Waste Water Treatment Plant and two hundred fifty miles of sewer. |

Goals:
|
- Continue program of reinvestment in the Town's sanitary sewer treatment facilities: sanitary sewers, pump stations and treatment plant to improve efficiency while reducing operating costs.
- Provide required staff training needed to adhere to strict Federal and State environmental and safety regulations.
- Continue odor control measures to further reduce complaints from neighboring areas.
