Old Business

Yvonne reported that we have a few tickets left for the James Taylor/Carole King Concert.  Betty will ask Mary to send an all town email out and Diane will send a note to advertise in ITowns.  Yvonne also reminded that the bus will leave from Town Hall at 2:30pm and returns approximately 11:00 pm.  We have been advised that we will be able to park in the Town Hall parking lot.

The committee also decided not to book a trip to the King Tut exhibit.

New Business

We have been advised that we will be allowed to make a monetary contribution to the July Fourth Celebration.  The committee decided on $250.

Enfield Day will be held on September 19th.  We will sponsor the ever-popular chalk art contest once again.

Barbara reported that she spoke with Dan Kane about performing at Christmas.  The fourteen singers will be available the last weekend of November.  Barbara will contact the Enfield church regarding their availability.  The cost will be $1200 to $1500.

We will also make a contribution to the Christmas Concert held at Saint Adalbert’s.  More details will follow.

A discussion was held regarding our October 6th trip to the Culinary Institute.  Diane will research surrounding areas to visit after the luncheon.

Diane will inquire about tickets for the Blue Man Group at the Bushnell in January.
