Pre-Referendum High School Consolidation Committee
Meeting Minutes
March 01, 2012
CALL TO ORDER: Art Pongratz called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM at the Enfield High School Main Office.
IN ATTENDANCE: Judith Apruzzese-Desroches, Maureen Brennan, John Dague, Randy Daigle, Patrick Droney, Robert Hunt, Kyle Kalagher, Tina Leblanc, Art Pongratz, Steven Sargalski, , Genaro Sepulveda, Gregory Stokes and Thomas Vaghini. Bill Schultz arrived late.
ABSENT: John Coccia
ALSO IN ATTENDANCE: Matt Coppler, Town Manager; Paul Newton, FHS Principal; John Gallacher, Superintendent of Schools; Tim Neville, Chairman, Board of Education and Jamie Drzyzga.
Art Pongratz started by making introductions of Chairman of Board of Education, Tim Neville, Town Manager, Matthew Coppler and School Superintendant, John Gallacher.
Tim Neville thanked committee and think that everyone will bring something to the table that will help get to the referendum and the right solution and will be dropping in from time to time.
John said let him know what you might need such as a visit and we will take care of it. Matt gave apologies on behalf of Scott Kaupin he had a prior commitment.
Art Pongratz handed out the High School Consolidation Study by GM2 to the group before they continued through the high school on a tour.
