We are looking for a few more single men over 70 for our Speed Dating event. All of the spaces for women have been filled and we are taking a waiting list. At the event, you simply spend a few minutes talking with each person and then move on to the next person. You decide whether you would want to see them again. You submit your Dating Sheet and if they match, you will be given their contact information. There is no cost and the event will be held on Thursday, November 12 at 6 p.m. Even if you do not find a match, it is a fun night of talking and a great dessert. Call the Senior Center or email me at to register.

We honor our veterans with a celebration each year. This year we are joining the Enfield Cultural Arts Commission to present a World War II storyteller in our Veterans Tribute. On Thursday, November 12 at 1 p.m., Arnie Pritchard tells the story of his father’s experience through letters he wrote. Dessert will be served after the presentation. Everyone is welcome.
