Can we create a notification (text, Emai, etc) to let residents know if trash/recycle pickup is cancelled or delayed for any reason.

pre-teen, teen, and even post teen kids have relatively no place to just hang out with friends and get practice and exercise at an extremely popular sport. the 2 parks we have now are pitiful....

pre-teen, teen, and even post teen kids have relatively no place to just hang out with friends and get practice and exercise at an extremely popular sport. the 2 parks we have now are pitiful. neighboring towns much smaller than ours have way bigger and better parks. 3 parks would provide an adequate way for the older kids to ride to the parks themselves. and within easy driving distance for parents of younger kids. each park could even be designed differently to provide variety. the mid size parks, 1 in t'ville area redesigned, 1 in greenmanor area redesigned and 1new in the weymouth rd area. the large park could be placed within brainerd park. please give our kids this opportunity.

I hope that the Town Council will consider online Gambling as a competitive edge with the Casino Mall Project. It is Clear that Casino war is on with Mass and just putting an extension to the Brick and Mortar casinos is not going to be a winning strategy in my opinion in the long run. Being ahead of your competitor is what give the advantage. Other states are working on online gaming or have already passed laws to regulate and tax the industry. Why shouldn't Connecticut?

It's been brought to my attention that needy children in Enfield will quite probably have a very bleak holiday season.The police department only covers children up to age 8,and neighborhood services informed me they have no sponsors.I truly believe if people were aware of this situation someone could help.There are many businesses in the area that have the means but possibly don't know about thus sad issue.We should go to these businesses and ask for support if our town by way of helping our children.Thank you.

I know from experience that when you are riding a bicycle it is quite hard to maneuver through broken glass among other things. So I was thinking if we had a "Sidewalk committee" then when a biker or citizen walking saw trash or debris they could let us know on a webpage. We would then dispatch someone and clean that up. Maybe this is stupid. Let me know.
