Captain Edward Prajzner joined the Department in 2007 as a volunteer. He has a total of 13 years in the fire service, and experience from another department in the area. In 2009 he was promoted to Lieutenant and hired as a career firefighter. Then in 2010 he was promoted to the rank of Captain and given the responsibility of Training Officer for the Department. He also is a State of CT Dept of Transportation certified Safety Car Seat Installer.
